Core support ? please help

I have a 67 with a core that is not in that great of shape and i have found a donor 69 with a very good core but i was wondering if they would interchange or not? They look the same except the head light bezels. It looks like the 69 headlights stick out farther than the 67 i was wondering if could just cut down the 69 to fit.

Re: Core support ? please help

67 is different from a 69. I know that if you want to put a 67-68 front end on a later , you have to change core supports. I asked the same question in a thread awhile back, I'll see if I can find it.

If i read your post right all you have to change is the headlight mounting? Will the fenders bolt up correctly? Thanks for all the help

Re: Core support ? please help

You'll also have to modify the mounts. The 67/68 frame mounts for the core support have different size holes than the 69-72 ones.
