To anyone with a glove box mount
Reaching a stereo would be a PITA for a glove box mount, so I'd want to get a head unit with a remote control. Question: Will those work with the glove box shut?

Re: To anyone with a glove box mount
negative. They use an IR signal just like a TV remote. You need line of sight... If your stereo is capable, you may be able to find an IR signal "eye" to mount external to the glove box.

Thanks. Not the answer I wanted to hear, but it was the one I expected.
