New floor
I changed out my rubber floormat last weekend. Did I miss anything?
First I cleaned all dirt etc. It had some light surface rust so I sanded it and hit it with some rust proof paint. I then added the window wrap to seal off some holes in floorboard (Truck used to be a Fire dept. had a lot of equip.) I then put the felt down. Then The rubber mat. I dont know if the window wrap is as good as dynamat but it sure is a lot cheaper.

Re: New floor
It was somewhat quieter although it wasnt that loud to begin with. What I needed it for was to seal up a few holes from switches on floorboard and where wire went through the firewall. It was so hot during the summer, and I assume it would be cold during the winter with that much air getting in.
Anyways it seems to work really well. I would hate to have to remove it because it was very sticky.

Re: New floor
I bought it a while back I think it was around $35 This is the second truck I have used that roll on and there is still a little left. But I just put it under the floormat and not under the seat.
