Thinking about buying another truck
I just bought a 4wd frame from Randy and i told myself iwas going to wait a while before i did anything with it, the ni found this truck. It's a 1970 gmc 1/s ton with factory air. somebody did a little work to it once upon a time, but its still prety decent. The front clip is perfect and the box only needs a little attention. The worst of it is that someone replaced the rockers and that was it. It needs floor patch panels, supports, rocker and cab corners, and i will need to find some doors. It runs and drives. The guy just quit driving it as his daily driver about two months ago. The price is right, i just got to get rid of a few more things to pay for it. So what do you guys think? should i get it.

Re: Thinking about buying another truck
Looks like it would be a fun driver. If the price is right, go for it.
Easy for me to say though. |

Re: Thinking about buying another truck
It all depends on the price. If you are comfortable with it, go for it!

Re: Thinking about buying another truck
That's a good price for a running truck, and the fact that it is 1/2 ton would seal the deal for me.

Re: Thinking about buying another truck
How can you go wrong with $600? I assume this is now sitting in your driveway?

Re: Thinking about buying another truck
I would never hesitate to by a truck in that condition for $600. That explains why I have 6 vehicles though - they all run, drive and stop though so no major projects....

Re: Thinking about buying another truck
I wish I was looking at trucks right now. Instead I'm looking at very expensive 1st Gen Camaro's......Talk about a different market.
Oh, I say buy it. Looks like you could almost drive it as is!

Re: Thinking about buying another truck
Quote:
I luv the Muscle car era but I just can't justify the expense while my 70cst I can justify cause its a truck and its much less $$$... This is why I have a factory 70cst 402BB ... I could not afford a muscle car back in 1970 when I graduated from high school and I can't afford one now. So my C10 in my CST is my version of a muscle car. If you buy a Camaro be sure to post pics.
