Suburban bench seat

Does anyone know if a 91 Suburban front bench seat will fit a 86 pick-up or are the brackets wrong? Thanks in advance.

Re: Suburban bench seat

Not sure on brackets, I think it will bolt in. But the Sub seat doesn't fold forward.

Re: Suburban bench seat

I think the brackets are different, but you should be able to swap them from one seat to the other...as the seats are the same.

I never thought about that. I wonder if I can swap that part over to make it tilt forward? I guess its a nice feature to be able tilt forward but really not needed I dunno.

Guy says the seat is in good condition but to be honest, I want a new interior and dont wanna take a chance so may just recover my bench seat.

I have new G.M. door panels otw and already have a new G.M. dash pad and will be getting new carpet soon.

Re: Suburban bench seat

If you are going to pull the covers to switch the seat backs. You might as well recover/pad you old seat. Unless the Sub's covers are spotless and the color/style you want.
