I want to remove the faceplate on the dash. How do these knobs come off?

Wiper knob has a small set screw.The light knob is removed by pulling it out and reaching under the dash to the (topI think it is,it's been a while) of the switch and pressing a button down.Then you pull it the rest of the way out.Make sure you disconnect the battery since your lights will be on.

Don't do what I did and just rip the switch out, you'll end up having to buy a new one. After you undo the switches you have to unscrew the bezel itself. Once that is completed you need to unscrew the speedometer cable and disconnect the wiring harness for the dash. Then you should be good to go!

If you have an oil pressure gauge you'll need to disconnect the oil line as well.

That is correct... When you pull the switch knob out only pull it out to the park light position, then push the button down and pull it out the rest of the way.

oil gauge will need a 5/16 or 3/8 wrench if I remember right to disconnect. It has been awhile since I have tore one apart. Trevor

5/16", I had a heck of a time finding my wrench a while back...

Don't forget to re-attach the oil line before you crank the engine. Believe me, you will have a mess.
