Removing Hubcaps

This is a dumb question, but i would like to know the best way to remove hubcaps on my 51 Chev in order to get to the lug nuts. I can take a hammer and use the claw to pop it off, but im afraid ill damage the rim or cap.

Thanks

Re: Removing Hubcaps

Very carefully. put duct tape on a wide flat screw driver or narrow flat bar and pop them off.
