Friday night work on the 70

Just getting the time to get some work done on the 70. I was wondering if anyone else is running DIYx4's cross member. Some before and after shots. Any advise on rewiring the entire truck?

atimic67 - The cross member and mount set up is from DIYx4. Really nice setup and cost effective.

Good luck on your build beechd18, I with I had the time and money to do a frame off. As for mine it is a work in patience. I just ordered a wiring harness and some exhaust gaskets.

Re: Friday night work on the 70

Yeah the carb was junk and I struck a deal and got the Pro Jection setup for almost free. I have had projection before and it seems to be a good setup, some people seem to complain a lot but I have been a satisfied customer before on a different project. I went with a 24 circuit from hot rod wiring - some nice seat heaters and other things to come and wanted the room to expand electrically.

Re: Friday night work on the 70

Thanks everyone, I made some more progress tonight. Mounted the front end and bolted down the intake and throttle body. Installing the fuel tank under the bed tomorrow, running all new fuel lines and installing the electric fuel pump. UPS man bring me my harness - lol.

Re: Friday night work on the 70

This may not be what you are looking for but my buddy and I did some fab work on my stock trans Xmember so we could run exhaust through it. After some grinding turned out very nice.
