Hi all, newbie here. got this 72 blazer a coule weeks back. The original owner sold it to his son 1974. Its the only vehicle the son has owned in his life. I recieved every bit of paper work there is. He had ring binders full of every ounce of fuel ever put in. He did some funky stuff to it, like 8 track player, cb radio with a PA speaker etc. I added a leaf spring to the front, new steering sector, ball joints, shocks, wheels, tires, bumpers. Still got to install new exaust, front end alighnment. It has a 350/4speed. Man, I been having a blast workin on this one.

Nice! I think it's cool when the owners keep up with all that documentation.

http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL71.../379071930.jpg I beleive this is an old A.C unit, out of what, who knows. It is installed behind the drivers seat and converted to a rear heater. Fan and controls work. It was piped to the motor with copper lines and a valve. Complete with the Shag carpet option!

Re: new toy

That is a sweet blazer. But I got to tell you, a cb with a pa speaker has to be about the best things you can do to an old truck! That is a very good find.

Just want to say thanks to all for the compliments.. I better not show pics of the engine bay just yet. That area needs some attention (although it is pretty much stock, right down to original hose clamps). thanks again!

Re: new toy

Funky??? Man that thing is a 70's time machine. CB?? 8 track player??
I think it's cool, I wouldn't change a thing.

Keep in mind that's coming from an old fart that doesn't fit in (or like for that matter) to todays technoligy
