on 8s, the biggest most people run are 275 60 r 15. have also seen 295 50s back in the day. someone should replicate them in 16s and 17s. they'd sell

wheel vintiques makes them in those sizes, but they are pretty pricy.

Re: ralley wheels...

go with some custom cut 20" ralleys, and slam the truck to the ground!!
was contemplating doing it on my truck, but it's too custom to have "stock" style wheels i'm almost at the point to build another truck just to put these wheels on....

heres a design pic of 20" chevy truck ralleys, properly proportioned:

1st pic = 20" face
2nd pic = 15" compared to 20"
3rd pic = 20x9" and 20x12" (from front)
4th pic = 20x9" and 20x12" (from rear)
5th pic = design drawing

the only downfall, getting some of these custom cut will cost around $800 per rim... having rims no one else has is priceless!

correct me if i am wrong, but the wheel vintiques (like you have) are being made only in the Vette style ralleys. Like Steemin, i dont think anyone is re-poping the old school 73-87 chevy truck ralleys in any size. some Caprice cop cars up to 95 had a version of 15X8, but most of them had quarter sized holes (a very cool look, by the way). if anyone knows of any repop whel, i'd like to hear about it. one of these days, we are going to run out of these wheels.

Wheel Vintiques may have stopped making them but they used to. I have 15x10 truck rally's from wheel vintiques.

Re: ralley wheels...

Mine has 15x10's with 275/60's all the way around. After Christmas I'm going to swap the rears for 325/50's and change it to black-wall out.

...not to my knowledge. My recollection is that they were 15x6 or 15x7 (ie, smaller than the 15x8's that are on my truck).
