Re: Good Ole Parts 4 Sale

I am interested in the seat. Does it just have te stock foam? The reason I ask is when y dad had the seat for his 71 GMC recovered, the uphousltery shop thought they were doing him a favor by adding extra foam to the bottom before covering it. The only problem is it is a 3 OTT truck with no tilt wheel and he is not a little guy. It puts him too close to the wheel and makes it hard to get in. We were thinking we would put the seat in my 72 and find another seat for his truck instead of having his redone.

To be honest, the previous owner had it done. Now, in my honest opinion, it sits correct. Not too close to the dash nor does it sit too high. Padding is good and firm too. Let me know.

Re: Good Ole Parts 4 Sale

I'm interested in the dash board. The person who had my truck before me, decided it would be a good idea to cut up the stereo area to mount a modern style stereo and hacked the hell out of it. how much would the shipping be if it were going to a house in Mechanicsville Maryland, 20659??

Do you still have the dash pad available for sale? Is it an aftermarket, or original recovered?

Yes, it's still available. It came with the truck when I bought it. It is a brand new, black aftermarket. But it fits the dash perfectly.

Yes, I still have it. And most definitely you can pick it up. That saves the hassle of shipping a large, heavy item.
