Question bigger back tires

I have a 69 chevy c-10 long bed and wont to go with a little bigger but mostly wider tires the ones that are on it now are 7.00x15 thats all they say and I got stuck last night on wet grass it took me 2hr to push it off the grass back to the road was not hard to push but still it was on grass not mud so now I wont to put some sort of mud tire on the back and still keep the stock rims I have some 33x12.50x15 off my 83 4x4 that were on it's stock rims but I do not thank they will fit

Re: bigger back tires

you should have let some air out of the tires and driven it off the grass

Re: bigger back tires

The 83 4X4 wheels should bolt right on.

Re: bigger back tires

as long as your 69 hasn"t been converted to 5 lug and the 83 was a half ton bolt them badd 33's on there is alot more room back there then you think. I've seen 32's all the way around on a stock height 2wd before and they didn"t rub at all.

Re: bigger back tires

No in fact all the pics you see of the 67-70's that haven"t been converted with rally's are using the 4x4 rally's off the newer trucks. I have had 3 diiferent sets of wheels off of the newer 4x4's at one time or another on my truck
