Drive shaft Help, PLEASE

Alright. My truck had a 355 and a 700r4 in it. The winter project is putting my 331 and th350 in it, which is a short shaft trans. Everything is set in. Forward most motor mount holes, like it was. Crossmember moved forward a set of holes. I pulled a driveshaft from a parts truck that I thought was a 350/350 truck but its the exact same as the one I pulled from behind the 700r4. What am I overlooking here? What should the measurement of the front half be from center to center of u-joints. Or what do I need to do to make this work??

measure your tranny and the one you want to run. add or subtract the differance to the length of the drive shaft.
