lock sets

I'm trying to find a matching set of locks for the doors and glove box.

I can find both but they have different keys, I'm trying to find a solution so I can have one key for ignition and one for doors/glove box.

LMC.....no
GMC Paul....no

Anyone know where?

Re: lock sets

Try taking them to a lock smith they should be able to re-key all the cylinders for the same key. I had it done on a old VW once.

Re: lock sets

GMC Paul has them...

I have bought them - here is the part number - 522820

1967 -72 Ignition lock cylinder & 2 door locks with gaskets & retainers, & glove box lock with 2 square head matching late style keys keyed to work in all lock cylinders.

Here is the page - http://www.gmcpauls.com/dash_parts.htm

$39.95 for the kit before shipping costs...

You can just buy the ignition with key and be done...

Re: lock sets

Got mine from Jim Carter classic truck parts for like $23.50 Just the ignition switch and both door locks, no glove box.The Paddock has the whole set for $48.95 Mine doesn't have the lock on the g-box, so that's the way I went.

Re: lock sets

Cool....thanks guys.

GMC Pauls website is so hard to navigate for me.....I missed them.

I did look....

Update.....went back to GMC Pauls and that link doesn't work.
The requested URL /pictures/67-72 LOCKSEt DOOR,IGN,GLOVEBOX SQR KEYS.jpg was not found on this server.

I don't know for sure that it's what I'm looking for because I cannot see or read it.

So I got it from Classic Parts.
