If you want 6 hole disk brakes up front you will to buy some aftermarket rotors. If you want to go back to drum brakes on the front you will need all the old stuff. On rear you will need etiher axles or a whole rear end.
What about adapter plates?
Good luck
Mike

Re: 5 bolt to 6 bolt????

since its a 71 you will need 6 lug rotors and MAYBE you can fnd a 70 only axle which came in 2 sizes then you can just pull the axle shafts and drums...

Re: 5 bolt to 6 bolt????

Been on this site for many years and all I've heard is how to convert to 5lugs. But, it was bound to happen... going retro.

Just make sure the "center bore" of the wheel is the same size as your 5-lug hubs.
Most late model 17" 6-lug wheels have a smaller center bore.
