Whats a short box frame worth?

Hey a local guy has 2 short box frames for sale, one is powdercoated black and the other is painted red. Says they have new bushings in the front A arms. Just wondering if they are worth $800.00

What something is worth is a difficult question to ask.

Do you need it? Can you find them elsewhere in better condition for less?

I would say that if you needed a frame and you couldn't find one somewhere else reasonably, then yes they are worth $800.

I listed a bare one here a month ago for $100 and didn't get a bite on it.

Probably going to scrap it.

I wish someone near Lafayette would just toss one away or even for low price, doesn't seem to be too many members on here (or even 67-72) owners near me, or have anything salvageable from our beautiful weather conditions. Since trying to build my truck I now hate where I live, < very jealous of you southern and western guys.

I just put out word of mouth down here about having a rebuildable on and got 2 offers of $450 with rusted out cab and title and $200 site unseen . Id say $800 powdercated and rebuilt is not to bad of a price . If you need it . I paid $300 for my 72 chassis and had to rebuild it and paint it .
