Do these brake hoses seem too long?

They are the one's that came with the disc kit, but they seem way too long to me, but I've never done this before, so I don't have any thing to compare by. This is with the wheel straight:

This with full left:

And full right:

They kinda look like they are actually rubbing, but they are not, but really close.

Thanks

Turn your wheel all the way to one side and see if the brake line is still
to long or just right meaning that it
is not to tight. In your pic it looks to
be correct.

Re: Do these brake hoses seem too long?

I think you run into the problem that the lines are for a stock '71/'72 truck with disc brakes. If you look at one of those, the brake line is at the front of the crossmember. Drum brake frames have the tab at the rear of the crossmember. It would make the lines too long.

You can play with things to get the line to not rub on things and that is all you really need to worry about.

Hope that helps.

Re: Do these brake hoses seem too long?

That makes sense, chevy mike. I guess I'll wait until I have it all back together to see how it looks then.
