just thought id share this info,,,if you call chevrolet corp. and get to customer assistance you can ask for a free restoration kit for any year chevy /gmc car or truck and they will send you this big ole thick file of every spec you can think of,,every measurment ,,motor options, motor specs,,tranny options,,,by god anything you would want to know about these trucks that book has it in it and it is totally 100% absolutley tutley free,,trust me i know ,,ive dang near got the hole collection,,lol,,,just thought some of you guys might find this handy

Hey, MAC67! I think I have one of those manuals on the desk,let me see, Yeah, sure do, I think its yours!! need it back? Really good reading for specs. and options,etc.

Don't bother asking for a GMC book, all they have is chevy. I still need a couple more to finish my collection.
Does anyone have the number? I seem to have lost it in the move a few months ago.

If you go to their website and do a little searching you can request one through it. Got several years doing it that way.

The first time I did this I went to the email part and had asked a general question about the trucks. They then emailed me back asking for year, vin, model etc. and said they would send a restoration pack for that year so I did and got the pack. Latter I emailed them with year, vin etc for another truck I had and they sent me the pack for that yearalso.
