Remove Drip Rail?
Thinking about removing the drip rail. Anyone here ever did this? If so, do you have any pictures?

there should be a couple places to look for threads on this.In the FAQ's and in the builds section.There may also be some mention of it in the bosy section.I know a few have done it maybe they will chime in with links.

And mine in progress. Just make sure to cut small sections 6-10" at a time, tack together the pieces, cut more, tack, etc. Then go back and tack between the original ones, then between those. Go slowly/space out the welds so you don't heat up/warp the metal. The be prepared for a lot of grinding.
      While you're at it, shave the firewall too

it is alot of work to smooth your dripm rail i did because mine was rusted out it is alot of welding

There have been threads on this from time to time. Be careful though-- the drip rail is part of the cab structure and where the skins all weld together right at that point. Do just a few inches at a time.
