Fuel Issue? Help!

So I am having an issue with my 75 C20 350 (200,000 miles) I bought recently. It will stall out on me. Its done it twice so far never to far from home. I am thinking it has something to do with the passenger tank as well as fuel filter. The cap on the passenger side does not fit air tight, so I was thinking personally that the tank has some rust in it. I asked the PO and he said both tanks worked, so I went ahead and filled both tanks. It has never stalled out while on the driver's side tank ONLY the passenger side. So I just wanted to pick some your guys brain about this. I tried to get some information using mitchell on deamnd and found out mitchell has nothing to provide. I just want some feedback on possible known issues with this style truck. Its a fairly simple truck I just don't really understand how the fuel supply on this truck really works due to the dual tanks. Also if anyone knows some good digrams to the trucks fuel system and electric that will be loads of help to me. Thanks for your time guys...... new to the site (first post)

Re: Fuel Issue? Help!

Since it only does it on one tank, I would guess that the valve or line has something plugging it up. Best bet would be to drop the tank and make sure everything is clean.
