thinking of 250/powerglide

hey all, been a while since ive been on here, winter weather has me itching to revive one of my trucks....

its a stock 292/powerglide combo, the 292 is tired, sluggish and needs a rebuild. i do however, have a GREAT running 250 that im considering swapping into it....

my question is, what things might be unique to the 292/glide combo that i could not use for the 250 swap?

Im wondering more about starter location, flexplate, and other internal powerglide components. i dont know much about automatics so anyone who does, input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: thinking of 250/powerglide

the only thing that you haave to change or wory about is the passenger side eng mount (perch); every other eng will work except for the 292
