Question about control arms
I'm going to start on my 79 GMC crew cab dually soon, I pushed my other trucks back, and I am wondering.
Those who have stepped your lower control arms; How much did you step them? Did you mod the uppers? Have any pics? It will be static dropped til I can get the money to gether to bag it.

Re: Question about control arms
I've never stepped a set of lower arms,... but I have seen it over at www.duallyscene.com.
Lots of good dually specific info over there. Post up some pics of your project when you get time.

Re: Question about control arms
I stepped mine 1-1/2", and didn't touch the uppers. Here's the thread:

Re: Question about control arms
It's like a drop spindle for drum brakes (it raises the spindle/hub).
