92 chevy steering column conversion to 86

Well on to next thread. Sorry guys if I'm being a hassle here, but hopefully someone can help me out.

Now on to the story. I managed to obtain a 92 steering column that has reinforced steel all around to keep those dirty crook's out of taking our ride's.

Here are some pics. It's in mint condition and worked great when I tested it out on my dad's 92 truck.

Now this is the problem..........................

This wire goes to the windshield wipers.

It has less wires than the 86. (Modify? Maybe?)

My father says it wont work as the 86's has more wires.

Also worth noting, I cannot remove any of the parts out of the reinforced steering column pertaining to the directional lights and windshield wipers as it is encased in that hard steel .....Help

There must be a way to make it work on my truck's wiper wiring.
