k5 body swap help. 4x4 diesel and 2wd gas

I have 2 k5's. First is a 1981 2wd and the second is an 85 diesel 4x4. Im trading bodies because my 2wd needs to be super clean and not having to smog it is a bonus.
i need to know what all i need to keep from the diesel truck to make sure its still funtioning after the bodies are swapped. Do i need to swap the hydroboost or can i use the power booster with the diesel? is the wiring different? anything else that makes them different?

you will need to keep the hydroboost with the diesel. Also the diesel should have a very small glowplug controller box mixed in the wiring under the dash. swapping wiring harnesses isnt that bad if you wanted to make sure everything went perfect.

The diesel's fuel filter will unbolt and has a threaded bracket behind the firewall(IIRC) that will need to be swapped if you put a body back on the diesel.
