sport mirror mounting locations - need assistance

I searched the forum, and found some info and a pic of from the facotry assembly manual, but unless im overlooking it, it does not have the dimensions from the leading edge of the door (# 20 in the drawing), and the measurement from the vent window (how far down, # 35 in the drawing) My son's truck is in paint and i would rather have them mount the mirrors while they have it in there possession.

thanks!

Re: sport mirror mounting locations - need assistance

I got my mirrors from Obsolete Parts out of Ga. and they come with a back bracket and a rubber seal that goes under the mirror (with the screws as well). I took the rubber seal and placed it so that the two back holes were directly beneath the vent window frame and just below the crease in the door fender so that the rubber seal was laying flat. I used the 11/32 drill bit after drilling a pilot hole and they went on great and I think they look great. I have to get used to them being smaller but they look great. I placed both sides in the same location.
