86 C10 Dual Gas Tank Capacity?

Hey guys,

Whats the capacity per tank on the c10s that are running the dual tanks?

6' is 15-16 gallons, think 18-20 for 8'.

you can have either short or long tanks on a long bed.. they are 20 gallons each so the total capacity is either 32 or 40 gallons unless someone has replaced one tank with the opposite size of what they had in which case it would be 36 gallons.. the tanks are interchangable on a long bed im not too sure about a short bed

I don't think you can put a 20 gallon on a swb. Could be wrong. If so I would like to know I am about to replace mine now. If I could squeeze a 20 gallon one in there that would be sweet.

Nope, not enough room as they will hit the spring hanger. The tanks on my crew can were perfect, still had the fuel pump senders all of it, can't use them....
