Need help...again. Frame question
Im gunna go work on my the ole 67 today but before I head out there I want to swing in and get some sheet metal and some metal to make the rear most xmember since mine was scraped. I hate that I cant just go out and take the measurement for myself since the truck is 20 miles away. I plan on getting about 34 inches long so I have some room to trim to fit but I need to know how tall the frame rail is from the inside edge to inside edge where the rear xmember rivet hole is. Anybody? I searched and searched but just was having no luck. Thanks a million.

Re: Need help...again. Frame question
Thanks for your willingness to help. I made it to Pacific steel earlier today and just picked up a 10'x4' sheet of 18 gauge cold rolled steel. I'll get the metal for the cross member another time. Although I made it out to my truck and took a quick measurement. Its roughly 4" from the inside bottom to the inside top of the frame with the frame thickness being 3/16s, over all frame height of 4 3/8" at the rear. Thanks again and keep on truckin!

Re: Need help...again. Frame question
yeah, I just got in and checked mine right in front of that last crossmember and it is 4.25" top to bottom on the inside of the 'rail.
