Sounds like a ground problem of some sort. Check your connections at the blower motor, make sure the ground is secure.

Pistons probably right. I have a 94 -1500 and when i first got it I would get on the gas and it would start cutting out,my speedo would go past 85 and my radio would cut out. I thought it was a tranny problem and I finally took it to the dealer for thier 65 dollar electronic check out fee only to find out my battery cable ran up by the exhause and was shorting out under heavy acceleration. They rerouted my cable and all has been fine since..................

I agree with the reply that you may have a ground problem. I have an '88 GMC that had a ground wire under the dash close to the parking brake that got loose and you will get all sorts of strange happenings. With the amount of plastic used in todays dashes the ground is much more critical. There should be an instrument ground under the dash and one under the hood that connects the body to the engine. Good luck!
