Calling all midwest GM trucks!

We in northern Colorado are planning in advance for a meet in July at Loveland, CO and would like to get the word out to the members in the surrounding states as an invitation. Please check out Driveway Dreams 2010 Regional Meet post on the Colorado forum, and spread the word!
No small get together, we'd like to invite ALL members,...'49 to present!
Hope YOU can make it!
Todd.

Re: Calling all midwest GM trucks!

I'd love to, but it's too far of a drive for this IL member.

Re: Calling all midwest GM trucks!

Geeze,...I guess, Scootin!
Lived in Dayton, OH 'till I was 17 and I've done THAT drive in 500 mile shifts to here,...yuk!
At least we can all share our pics and info internationally right here on the forum.
We'll be thinkin' about all the wonderful folks, like yourself, that won't be able to get to this one.
You folks in the central states should check out Driveway Dreams post anyway, and organise a meet out there! He, and some of the other Colorado folks, have established some great sources for info on how to accomplish this huge task a bit easier!
Merry Christmas to you and yours'.
Todd.

Re: Calling all midwest GM trucks!

A good reasonable drive for me would be 150 mile radius of my house and from what I can tell, there aren't many members in that area.

Todd, thanks for posting this.

MODS & STAFF: Can we get this sort of link duplicated to all of the truck discussion boards? I have a thread going in general discussion, but really want to get the word out to everyone, please.

Re: Calling all midwest GM trucks!

I hope that more people have checked this out and gone to the Colorado forum for more info! Even with the holidays, I'm suprised I've not seen more posts. I know there are members in Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, and Wyoming that are close enough to us to make it to a meet in July of 2010. Perhaps I'll let this post die, and post another calling all Northern Colorado and region trucks. And on the appropriate regional forums. Oh well.
Todd.

Re: Calling all midwest GM trucks!

Yo! Yeah, I know the drive from Pueblo. And I was crazy enough to drive to the Springs to pickup the brand new Foose Spank wheels that FRANKENTRUCK sports,...long drive, but worth it for those FINE wheels!
Coming up here for a meet is quite the commitment,...BUT, if the planning works out, this may be a HUGE meet.
With those specs in your signature, I MUST say that seeing your truck in person would be worth something for sure!!
Hell, I'll pay to fill your tank/tanks just for you to bring that bad boy up here!! And I won't even ask you to burn a quarter mile of asphalt for me!
FRANKENTRUCK is still JUST on the road and still requires a bit of work, so I understand about on-going work. I'm hoping to have the final stuff done prior to July, but I'm trying to plan around this event, and hope to complete everything before it.
In any case, keep it in mind, and there'll be more info in the spring. Thanks for posting!
Merry Christmas!
Todd.

Re: Calling all midwest GM trucks!

We would like this to be for all years GM trucks. So, if you are coming out...bring a friend. If you are interested, feel free to pm me if you want any specific information. Or post it in the CO thread that is going and then the question can be answered for everyone.
