No, but I like the Coys, and they look good on these trucks. JJ and I measured and I can run a 24x10 with a 6-lug conversion with 7bs, but there's a catch, I only have 29in before I get into the hood. I'm going with the Coys and a 295/30/22 probably, and that's 29dia.

Re: 22x9 Coys, 5, or 5.5bs?

So, I'm confused again?? 6 lug conversion and 24s is a long way from 5.5" backspace on a coys?? What's it gonna be?

Also a 265/35 would be approximately the same diameter but would be a better choice for the front since it's not as wide. 265/35 front 285/35 rear is a nice combo in my opinion

Re: 22x9 Coys, 5, or 5.5bs?

Please read post #5 again. It states I couldn't run a 24 even if I wanted to. I only have 29in before I hit the hood with my tire and if I cut the pinch and BD I'll have an inch less, so that's a 28in dia. tire. So, just because I like a big wheel doesn't mean I can run it because it won't fit my needs.

I'll have to stay 29in dia. On a tire in front but I can run a taller tire in back. I have 29dia in front and 32 in back for an exact measurement.

Hey I was just asking. I think the 22 will be better anyway, but just so you know there are plenty of 24" tires that are around 29"

This statement is refreshing to see....

24x10 with a 7" BS is the same as a 22x9 with a 6" BS.

Is a Coys 22x9 with 5.5" BS going to work?
Or is that 1/2" less backspace going to make the tire rub on your fender?

That's the most bs I can get. I thought the Coys was a for sure thing and what people are getting on bagged trucks?

JJ and I talked about all this tire stuff. I will not run anything lower than the 29.5in 275/25/24 and those are $400 tires also.

I had a 24x10 with 5.91bs mounted and it barely touched my fenders until I bent the tabs back a little. It hit he bend in the top of my fender. I'll need a good 2-3 more bs to get it to fit. I'm thinking maybe a 7bs on a 10in wheel and narrowed arms. No way out of it. I'll be running my 15's for a while because I don't see the Coys fitting either.

Re: 22x9 Coys, 5, or 5.5bs?

I'm running a 20x8 with a 5.25" BS on the front of my blazer.
The equilavent of that in a 22x9 would be a 6.25" BS.

But I'm not as low and I still have my inner fenders.
Here's how they tuck.

Re: 22x9 Coys, 5, or 5.5bs?

What about the 6 lug conversion? Is the boss wheel available in a 22 with a 7" or so backspace in 6 lug?

Trust me the 275/25/24s suck bad

Boss 330 in a 22x9 5.75, or 6.25bs, and I could run a 22/24 staggered look. I'd have to do a 6-lug swap.

Boss 335 in a 22x9 with a 6.25bs, I stay 5-lug, but no staggered look because no 24 in this wheel.

Boss 313 in a 22x9.5 with 5.682 or 6.785 in a 6-lug, and I can do a staggered with the 24.

Re: 22x9 Coys, 5, or 5.5bs?

313 is similar to the 308 I had before so I like it. I like the multispoke look on these trucks. I can do a 22/24 in a 5lug but I can't do a choice of two bs in the 5, if I do the 6lug I can get the better, deeper offsets so that's what I'll do.

Re: 22x9 Coys, 5, or 5.5bs?

What tires do you guys recommend for a 22/24? I have 29in before I hit the hood and I'm not sure before I get over the bedside, but I think it has notch for a 32dia tire. If I run a 22x9.5 with 6.785bs what 24 would be best? There's a 24x10 with 5.91 and 7.1.

Re: 22x9 Coys, 5, or 5.5bs?

10" w/the 5.91" would give the deeper dish (or the staggered offset). Only you can know for sure if you need that BS or the deeper 7.10". What year rear housing do you have?

A 265/35-22 would be 29.3" tall.

'72 5x5 rear. Hardest part will be making the rear a 6lug because I can't swap rearends because the 4-link brackets are welded on this frame and I don't want to swap all of it. I just don't want a rear offset that makes it look funny.

I would try 73-up 4x4 rear axles/drums. Axle length should be the same as 71-72's.

Re: 22x9 Coys, 5, or 5.5bs?

Can you order in both backspaces and try them?
The other choice is to measure.
Do you have a steel wheel (with no tire mounted) that you can bolt to the rearend and measure off of?

The only other option is to take it to bagged74's place and let him measure.

I don't know what else to tell you.

You need to measure both sides to verify how much the rearend shifts when you air it out.
