Need Your Opinions

I am thinking about getting this stereo: http://signature.crutchfield.com/s_1...-KDC-X693.html and these speakers: http://signature.crutchfield.com/s_1...-KFC-X692.html . What do you guys think, Im not an expert in audio, and i dont need anything exceptional, but i would like to listen to some tunes. I am pretty set on the stereo, but the speakers I am not sure about. The reason that I am thinking both kenwood is that crutchfield has a deal if you buy a kenwood stereo you get $50 off a set of kenwood speakers, not to mention that kenwood is a reliable brand. I will probably mount these in boxes under the seat, as i dont want to cut anything i dont have to, would there be any cons from this? Could you guys think of a better mounting place? Also what guage speaker wire do i need, and an amp is not necessary, correct? Also, this truck came factory without a radio, do you suggest I run power from the fuse box or directly to the battery? Anything i should look out for when installing a stereo in a non factory radio truck? Thanks for any comments.

Re: Need Your Opinions

I built this to enclose my speaker under the seat. They sound pretty good and the move back and forth along with the seat.
Does the radio have the USB and aux inputs? If not I would look for one that does well worth the extra money.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Need Your Opinions

If you are looking for good sound but low price, try Pyramid brand 3 way 6x9s. I had a set and I wish I never would've sold them.
