would i be able to fit 33x12.50 tires on my stock k10 with out any trimming. or is the biggest i can go a 32 inch tire ?

heres a pic of my truck for reference for the height.

there tires there are 31x10.50,well the rear tire the front tire is a spare. but the rear tire stands 29 inchees tall because its so worn down and old

Some people say you can, some people say you cannot.

I've heard it'll fit with no rubbing, it'll fit with rubbing when you flex, and that it'll fit but rub at full turn. I've heard that they barely fit and rub with the slightest bump.

I'm interested to see the other replies.

it will also depend on the tire brand, rim width and backspacing of the rim...

I'm guessing it won't fit easily, that's a guess though,,,

ive heard the same thing. i dont think il be using it for much offroading where itll be flexing,just trying to make it into a beach truck

msgross idk what brand il be getting im gonna find used tires for now on a 15x10 rim and once i get money saved up(since im only 16) il be buying new 33 inch bf goodrich all terrains

They won't fit on 10" wheels. I had an old 75 1/2, put 33's on it and it rubbed when turning/flexing. Might one to put an add a leaf or zero rate for a small lift, that will help.

Your truck seems to be a little taller than most. Mine was similar with diesel springs & it cleared 32's on factory 8" wheels.

Wider wheels push them outwards & will definitely contact the fenders (likely even with 32's) when you turn.

33 x 12.50's on 8" wheels will tend to wear the centers out as it pulls the sidewalls in but will likely clear the fenders except when turned sharp.

i had to trim the lower fender lips on the front when i did mine.

thanks for the help guys,im most likely going to go with 32's. and after i do a small lift and 32's wear out il get 33's...i was also thinking of re-arching the springs just wondering if the arch will last awhile or not

Yo! Here's mine with no real lift, just flatbed axles/springs, and 33" 285/70/17s:

They've got 9 full inches of tread and are about 12" in total width. No problems. The tread comes within about 2" of the rear of the front wheel well on turning, but has never rubbed.

not sure why but i realllly like your truck.

and on my stock 1979 k10 with negative worn leafs it still fit 33's on a 8" rim no problems( my dad and i drove the truck a while) except when it had a load in it and hit a hard bump.

My 82,4x4 longbed Chevy came with Firestone P-235-15's.Before it was a year old,I put Kelly/Springfield 12.50x33x15's on it.
Since it's had the BFG's you want,(on it now),Goodyears and another brand I can't remember.
Over 300,000 miles and the only time it ever rubbed was on the beach on a hard left or right turn.
And I've got a 454 and winch.(added an extra spring on the front for the extra weight)
