Re: lack of motivation
Whats in your way? I usually lose it when I have something hard to tackle. If I tackle the issue, then I have a break thru and get stuff done. Wish I could help....

Re: lack of motivation
I go on this and other sites and look at some of the finished products. They make me want to work on mine. I also find it nice on occasion to just go out in the garage with a cup of coffee, beer or glass of wine and just walk around the truck and take stock. I then make me a list of things I want to do. Sometimes I sort the list by priority. Sometimes it is by funding, making the list to occasionally get subdivided into what takes time and what takes money.
When I get a few of the things crossed off the list it makes me feel better. Hope this helps you.

Re: lack of motivation
The cold weather/short levels of sunlight is my biggest problem. I have found a indoor sunlamp helps with the winter "hibernation blues " during the short days. It helps with motivation and mood for me.
After working outside in the cold all day, the indoor warmth feels too good to leave. Spring is on its way again. Was just a few months ago we were all complaining about 100*F days and too hot. Hang in there and make your lists and get your plan of attack for your truck.

Re: lack of motivation
My problem is not having a shop or a garage I can fit my truck into for the big stuff. Everything I do has to be done in no more than a day...maybe a week end so my neighbors won't rat me out since I live in an apt complex. I've done some minor repair work for alot of people here but I don't want to push my luck.

Re: lack of motivation
I think Bubba327 is right. It's the winter blaas. My wife and I were talking about the same thing earlier.
We may take the travel trailer and go south to the Gulf after New Year. Cayoterun

I have a winter motivation problem myself so I'm using this time to figure out a compromise between what I want to do and what I can afford to do. Right now I'm stuck trying to figure out my final color combo. I can't get started on the interior until I figure that out. I have plenty to work on before that becomes a real problem though (suspension, body work, ect...).

Re: lack of motivation
The biggest issue out there is to stay motivated....I feel your pain as I have been there many times.
