I got my new stereo installed. Other than that, nothing truck related. I did however have a nice Christmas with my family.

Re: What did you get done 12/27/09 edition

Saturday I took my 06 Silverado and my 09 Sierra to a shop and had them swap the lowering shackles. I had planned to do it myself until I found out what was involved in getting them on the 09.

Now they are on, and the rear of the 09 sits a little low. I hate to raise it back up a notch, but don't see getting the front down with out more trouble than I care to go through.

Today I worked on my 06 Silverado. I went to the coin car wash to pressure wash the engine and frame. I'm cleaning it up to put it on the market. Once the new windshield is in place it hits Craigslist.

not much pulled out the front axle... and started pulling out the x-member out of the '73..

it's just really hard to get motivated when you're laying on concrete and it's below freezing... ya know?

Re: What did you get done 12/27/09 edition

I think I got that same gps for my work van...think good old Mom got it for me...Been borrowing my wifes for those back road alabammy road trips.
Saturday, I loaded up my boys raptor 80 in the back of my gmc and went to my wife's uncles place, has several acres with a nice fishing pond we frequent in spring and summer, anyway, I got past his house and almost to the pond where I was going to unload (had my boy and oldest girl with me), so much rain I got stuck in the pasture, lol. He had to get his f250 4x4 to come pull me out. I was not really embarrassed...this is the first time I have ever been stuck, just got out the chains and yanked me out, so we did not ride. Maybe next weekend we can...I need to talk my wife into letting me get a 4 wheeler. Been looking at the trx400/450r....too bad they are not free.

Re: What did you get done 12/27/09 edition

I had chopped off my exh when I installed the class 5 hitch that was about 2 years ago. I finially got a chance to put it back on and route it a little better sounds much better with a full exh than having it chopped at the mufflers. Also got all the oil and filter to do and oil change on the truck and the apollo dident quite get to that yet.
