i just experienced the coolest thing ever!

so im out pushing carts at the redners in kenhorst/reading PA, where i work. i look across into the sears parking lot and see this lowered, tubbed out c10 shortbed. me and the guy i was working with stood out there for like 20 minutes waiting for someone to start it. soon enough a guy comes out and starts it up. it was the nicest sounding full exhaust on a c10 i ever heard. he drove by us, its was a nice low deep rumble. soooo nice! everyone else in the redners lot was looking at it too. unfortunatly i didnt have my phone on me so i couldnt snap a picture

btw, saying it was the coolest thing ever, is just an exaggeration.

anyone else have any similar stories?

My neighbor has a bright yellow 76 blazer with a 427 engine and huge tires out back, you can here him coming down the street usually in 2gear because its cammed up. the rumble shakes every house on the block.

Re: i just experienced the coolest thing ever!

A good friend of mine lives down the road from superformance (they build shelby kit cars) and they test drive them by his house all the time. That is the best sound in the world when one of those come by with gas pedal to the floor.

Re: i just experienced the coolest thing ever!

it may not be the coolest thing ever, but, the family wanted to go to the mall saturday and while trying to find a parking spot that i could put my 86 suburban with out getting it beat up, i spotted a chevy pickup that looked good. upon closer inspection it was a candy red 80s truck sitting low with 18" wheels on it, and a clean red and white interior. i could not believe it was not parked in the outer 40, but was in amongst the hoardes or other vehicles.
