About to buy a truck need tips
Hey guys I am about to hopefully purchase a 1967 c-10 fleetside.I am going to go look at it early next week I was wondering if yall had any tips for me to keep in mind and bad things to look for.
Rundown: Partially restored 1967 Chevy C-10. Has a fresh 327 with 202 heads;power glide tranmission ,power steering roller lifter and cam, accel electronic ignition, new exhaust with headers and magna flow exhaust, new battery, hoses, complete brake job, new shocks. It does have some rust spots started under each of the door pans that can be repaired for about $350 a side. Body is in good shape, paint fair. Wood bed is not in bad shape but could stand to be replaced to bring back to original condition. New interior and carpet. new dash pad defrost vents and hoses new glove box new am/fm radio All gages in working condition. Heater works good and all heater controls and hoses have been replaced. Front suspension in good shape and truck is still tight. I have been working on this truck for four years and it is a good daily driver. dont want get rid of but wife cant drive because of no power brakes this truck has about 2000 miles on new engine tires wheels has less than 1000 miles on them thanks guys I can get pictures if needed and have more specs too if anybody wants to hear them |

It's pretty easy to put power brakes on them. I put them on my '67 and didn't even have to unhook the lines to the master cylinder. Just unbolt the master/prop valve from the firewall, gently pull it back just enough to get the booster bolted to the firewall and bolt the master cyl back up. Be sure and get a booster from a drum/drum truck and make sure it has the rod that bolts to the brake pedal. LockDoc

Re: About to buy a truck need tips
I would say yes as my HP book says 600 cfm is more than enough for a street driven small block

Re: About to buy a truck need tips
No way to answer that with such limited info. You need all the specs on the engine and info on how you intend to drive it.
EDIT: I agree with haysonj though. 750 sounds like a lot for that small cubic inch engine.
