New Guy in Az.
Hi,
I just bought a 1969 Suburban and was looking for some advice. The burb has had alot of the hardwork already done. I am going to have to replace the grill shell as it's kind of banged up. Will a 72' grill fit on the 69' without alot of modification. I like the look of the 67-68 grill but, doesn't that one require different fenders, hood and radiator support? Thanks in advance for any help. Bob aka: Runningiron |

Re: New Guy in Az.
that doesn't look bad at all.
You can install the 71/72 grill, but the hood latch from the 71/72 will be needed also. And don't forget the bumper with turn signals in it. |

Re: New Guy in Az.
63chevyII Thanks,
I can't take the credit for it's condition. I believe bodydropped68Paul in Tucson, Az. did most of the work on it and maybe as well as Black Widow Customs in Tucson, Az. I've been looking for a daily driver with a little class and I think I've found it. It's got power disc brakes, 307 sbc, 350 turbo, 5 lug axles all around, power front bench seat, after market ac for comfort. At one time, I owned a 64 Chevy suburban that was flamed with a bbc that served me well for many years. Like a dummy, I traded it and regretted doing it. I think I'll keep this one and pass it on down to my grandson one day. Best regards. Runningiron |
