Smile Recent road trip to salvage yard/scored some parts

Well I decided to take a little trip to the salvage yard this past Monday. It was about 175 miles round trip from my house. I had never taken Ol' Yeller that far away from home. Needless to say I was a little nervous. I grabbed the essentials and hit the road. I managed to get my hands on a radio delete plate, chrome vent window, an ash tray, and some tow hooks from a newer chevy truck. I also saw some pretty cool trucks. Here are some pics.

It was a fun road trip. The first on the new motor and tranny. The Blazer didn't falter. I carry a Glock 19 Bikes. It's alot of fun. Thanks for the compliment AZK5. Hey there Chevy Art, good to find another person on the board from our neck of the woods. I've been sworn to secrecy by Critter and Jtrux on the location of this gold mine. PM me for details though. I've gotta go back for my other vent window. I'll let you know when.

Thats sad. The stuff in that "junkyard" is nicer then the stuff we work on in our backyard.

That's what I would call a Dream Road Trip. Like to have the Chrome grill off the early 60's GMC. Nice seeing all that metal without rust. Thanks for letting us follow along.
