Re: Missing Keys...

I used to take out a door lock, and take it to a locksmith, to have a key made. It's not very expensive. I think the last time I had it done, it was only like $10.

One of the door locks might have a code number stamped into it. I would start with the passenger side first.

Locksmith

Like said above. They can punch one out for you. Less than replacing.
We provide locksmith service here but its a little too far away
Plus they always could use the work

No usually they are not the same. I never throw an old car key away and just add them to a big wire ring that I have. It has bailed me out several times in the past.

If you have some old keys (especially well worn ones) that will fit in the ignition switch try them and see if you can wiggle one enough to get the switch to turn. Find one to turn it with and then you can use a paperclip to get tumbler out and pack it to the locksmith to make new keys.

I respectfully disagree with mr48chev on this one. My experience is that the ignition and doors are always keyed the same on the 67-72 trucks unless one or the other has been changed somewhere along the line. You mentioned that the door locks were new. If the ignition cylinder was replaced at the same time all of the locks will probably be keyed the same. If the ignition lock was not replaced they may be different. If you can contact the PO he may be able to tell you if he bought a complete set when he replaced them.
