Vintage photo I came across

I normally hang out on the 67-72 Blazer site but found a picture of my Dad and Uncle's vintage dirt track special from South Tennessee. Not sure of the year of truck. Thought you all might like.....Bubba

You need two tools in life: duct tape and WD-40. If it moves and it shouldn't, you use duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, you use WD-40.

Re: Vintage photo I came across

That's back when going to the races was fun. Driver and mechanic skills were the big winning factor, not money and technology.

Thanks for the pic.

Hey another Bubba !!
Hi Thanks for the pictures . I love the vintage racecars. My father-in law has a 33 Plymouth circle tracker stored in the barn at the ranch. the race number Is #51 and has a Desoto 6 with 3 corvette sidedraft carbs. Hand clutch and you straddle the steering column. (Yes it is locked up in the barn and was still there at thanksgiving)
Someday we might get to it, lots of other projects are closer to completion.
