Im going to need a trans and i need help.
Does anyone have more than 4 gears or is a 4 gear 700r4 as much as it gets as far a simplicity to put in???

More than 4? GM's new trucks use a 6 speed auto now. Two overdrives. Fully electronic though. What are you putting it in?

What are you bolting it up to? You'll need an electronic lock up for the converter if you go 700R4. Later ones also have an electric speedo. Cross member will need to be moved and drive shaft will need to be shortened. Is this still considered a bolt in?

700R4 is what you need. Too bad you aren't closer I have an extra one.

that's a long drive. and nothing on the way there. although if you like mexican food it's well worth it. get you something with the green or red chilli nothing better.
