Re: Rough-N-Low

we zed the rear frame 6 inches and the front 4 inches. the tires sit back 1.75 inches in the finder well. im thinking the only way to correct this is to add the difference in before i finish the front z. but yes im addig 3inch drop spindles and bags.

Re: Rough-N-Low

If the wheels moved in the wheel opening then the Z wasnt cut right. If its at an angle at all its going to change your wheelbase. It needs to be at a perfect 90 degree angle to the ground or perpendicular to the frame.

It needs to be a 90° cut if there's no change intended for the overall wheelbase.

If the spindle centerline is to be moved forward to center the wheels in the opening @ the much lower height, the Z needs to be done @ an angle or material needs to be added to increase the wheelbase.

Re: Rough-N-Low

ok. today not much progress, we pulled the cab and pressure washed the frame. yes yesterdays pic was a mock up with the front end at a 4 inch z. have ordered the spindles and waiting on them to be installed before we weld the front z. as far as the tire being toward the rear of the fender, this is how they are at factory height but its not noticed until it sits low. we will be adding 1.75 inches to the wheel base to fix the uglyness. thanks for everyone replys. this site with all on it is very informing.
