Extractors on to a 292

I will be fitting a set of extractors to my 292.
With my motorcycle engines we need to rejet the carby ifwe alter the exhaust so dramaticly.

Are there any changes to the system I should do when the extractors are fitted please?

Yes, we call them extractors on Motorcycle engines.
I never thought there would be a different word for them!

Re: Extractors on to a 292

Well that all depends on how the engine is set up before. The 292 is not going to be a sensitive as the motorcycle to the exhaust change. Your fuel system will probably be adequate with adding only headers. You would probably have to have cam and head work before you get into serious fuel system changes. Find a copy of the Santucci six cylinder books, there is a new one coming out soon. They have a wealth of info on the 292\250 family. Consider looking into the inliners international forums also. Good luck Jay

Re: Extractors on to a 292

79 I am not offended by the question.
I too normally ask many because often acronyms are used and it is double dutch to me, I dont understand anything. IE
9", LSD etc until I kept asking.
Jimmy, thanks for the info I intend to keep it as a daily runner, so I guess there is not much to change.
