Brasso polish works great, I wrap a t-shirt cloth around a 1" drum sander holder in my drill, use the polish like rubbing compound. Also try toothpaste or jewler's rouge.

I just cleaned one up with the mothers wheel polish...worked pretty good.
Did your fuel guage spin like mad when you turned on the ignition switch? I know mine did (when i installed the guage insterment panel in place of the dummy light one) Lots of smoke too.
Sucks huh?

I second that, they have a 2 step process, first you use a glaze to polish, then a spray for lighter scrathes.

I fell the best is Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Professional Plastic Cleaner; followed by M-1008 Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Plastic Polish...... These products are used on aircraft windshields among other acrylic and polycarboate surfaces....
