disc brake swap question?

I have installed the ECE front disc kit on my 68, and bought new master cylinder/booster for a 72. My questions (2) are
1. Can I use the factory front brake lines with the discs?
2. If I opt to use a aftermarket adjustible proportioning valve (Willwood), do I need to use any type of check valves or residual valves also? Or should I just buy factory prop. valve/ bracket assy. Thanks in advance.

I have the same kit on my 68 you will need to get new lines from a 71-72 with the lines that go in front of the a-arms 68 had the lines behind the a-arms

I would also buy a factory style prop valve for a 71-72 this way you dont have to worry about adjustments and compatibality problems

The best way would be the get the prop valve and lines of a 71-72 from the mastercylinder to both front wheels. Also the one that connects to the rear wheels

I used the 68 type lines coming off back of a-arm on my disc brake mod. I welded the brackets you get in the kit from ECE to back of the a-arms after cutting off the old brackets. Works great.
