BBC Rad. Straight swap?
I'm looking at upgrading my radiator in the near future and was looking at LMC's measurements and it seems that a rad for a 454 BBC would fit, it's just thicker. Anyone know if this is a pretty straight forward swap? Can I just swap radiators and the top "cover" and fan shroud and be ok?

Re: BBC Rad. Straight swap?
I would think so. Bbc did come on these trucks, and as far as I know the core support is the same regardless of motor. I think that there might be a different mounting on the bottom of rad., along with what else you posted.
Oh, yeah, might need new hoses and re-adjust trans lines.

Re: BBC Rad. Straight swap?
you'll also need the lower rubber mounts for the thicker radiator the BB radiator should be a 4 core which the 400 sbc also ran the radiator hoses should be ok as long as the port sizes on the radiator are the same as your current set up but you may have to adjust the trans lines

but those are the parts you need to do the conversion...save your money and dont buy the radiator from them, its like $250 or something, just get it from autozone, it was and still is, only around $160 or so, and if you know someone there, you can always get a discount
