need advice

I thought i would ask your guys opinion about this. I have an oppertunity to by one of my old trucks back. I sold thid truck back in 2001 to a friend, it was a project truck i did not have time for. It is a 68 SWB, frame is done with bags and lines run, narrowed rear with dutchman axles, sway bars, the bodywork is right around 50-60% complete. There is no motor, trans is turbo 350, he has doug thorley headers for small block(new),painless wiring harness, And some misc new trim. What do you think it is worth? He wants $3500 for it. I would like to buy it back and set it aside for my son. I would like to get your opinion on it. Thanks Guys

Re: need advice

Did he do anything to it? Do you have time for it now? How much did you sell it for? If it's what you want, get it. Sounds like there's that much in parts.

Re: need advice

He did all the chassis work, air bags, rear end, some of the body work, i sold it for $2000.00 with a motor, he has since sold the motor. I just wanted an opinion what you guys think it is worth. It has been so long since i have bought a project i am out of touch with prices. There is that in parts alone for sure.

Re: need advice

With out pics, I'm gonna say it sounds kind of pricey to me.

For the money he is asking, you could get a nice driver.

Just my .02
