My experience with today's swap meet
Today in Turlock on the Stanuslais County fair grounds, we had the annual auto swap meet.sponsered but the Model A club. This year there was no extra room! There must have been 15 acres of cars and car parts out there!
I snagged a gauge cluster for $25! I consider this a deal, especially since the local wreaking yard charges $35. The gas gauge on it has the little circles instead of F-1/2-E. Does this mean it's Canadian? Just wondering. Looks like It came off an '87 - the speedo that a manufaturing date of 8/12/86. Anyone need a temp or gas gauge? (I'm taking the other ones) I have no need for the shift indicator either - it is still together and not broken! The body of the cluster has one of the posts broken so that is no good. Not much there for our trucks - I did find drop spindles for $230. Didn't buy them though. Anyone else go and find a deal? Thanks for listening to me blab on and on and on............
