Blower relay, bedliner, windshield repair

A 3 for 1 post concerning my '79 K20:

1). I thought I had my blower issues figured out. I tried a couple different switches and relays and always had the same thing: When the key was on, the blower would work only on that low idle speed, regardless of switch position. High would maybe come on when the switch was BETWEEN the high and med positions. I thoroughly cleaned all connectors and contacts, and it worked normally. Now a few weeks later I'm back to where I started. Is this a grounding issue? Those ground wires above the blower motor looked like they could use some attention, but it was too freaking cold today.

2). My windshield was one item that I didn't think I'd have to replace. Today it got a rock chip. Does chip repair have any DIY options, or is this a pro only deal?

3). My truck is a driver, but has an excellent bed, probably worth most of what I paid for the truck. I think a non-slip spray-on bedliner would be best for me. Any worthwhile DIY products here, or is this another thing best left to a pro?

Thanks in advance
