Did they use this colour?

Did they ever paint any of these trucks solid turd brown? I haven't seen one yet. I've seen ochre, but no turd brown. Any other coulours they didn't do? And did they paint Jimmys/Blazers two tone at all? You know like white, blue, white? I seem to only recall seeing solid colour blazers. Some pics would be cool too. Thanks

I've got a poor copy of a 72 COLOR chart and Turd Brown is not listed. I can't actually read the COLOR names but I can tell it's not Turd Brown.
There are 2 brownish COLORS but they lean towards copper or bronze rather than the precious Turd.

I remember back in the later 70's Chevy had a color that my step-dad called "chocolate brown". They painted EVERYTHING that color. That's all my frickin' step-dad could ever talk about. "Chocolate brown this and Chocolate brown that" - "If you buy a new truck you're an idiot if you don't get chocolate brown" - GEEEZZZZZ!!!! I hated him and I hated that color. I think that's probably pretty close to the color you are talking about. I am sooooo glad that it wasn't a stock color for our trucks. It would sure ruin the whole thing for me!!!!!

If you want the color, names and paint codes, you can get them at autocolorlibrary.com. Just go to chev trucks, and find the year and the paint chips will come up.

Remember, when looking at colors on your computer monitor, it probably looks different in person. Depending on your settings and the browser your using.
